Picture Day

BRAND IDENTITY & BRAND GUIDELINES DESIGN

Picture Day with Jenny Roberts began with a simple question: what if picture day actually felt like something kids could enjoy? Jenny saw an experience that had become more “do your best” than genuine fun, leaving parents underwhelmed by the results and schools navigating tedious, time-consuming processes.

We built a brand around reimagining picture day from every angle—creating an identity that feels approachable, whimsical, and full of personality, just like the experience Jenny wanted to create for the children in front of her camera. I was specifically responsible for developing the final camera and pictorial mark concepts and shaping the brand typography, translating that playful spirit into a visual language that could carry the experience across every touchpoint.

The result is a brand that makes room for real smiles, real personalities, and the kind of photographs families actually want to keep.
